CCC Motorsport intake funnel/snorkel

Intake snorkel newly developed by us for original front frame with Golf 5 GTI 2.0R R32 or TT-S air filter box in all Golf 5 6 platforms (not suitable for TT 8J front frame).

In contrast to the original intake snorkel, this was designed and tested for maximum flow and air volume.

Inside, 2 air baffles extend completely into the air filter box. A vertical air baffle is integrated into the last bend, which separates the bend into 6 independent air channels. Therefore, the air flow rate is increased significantly as the turbulence and low pressure area are minimized.

The air inlet has 3 additional air inlets below (engine compartment, warm air). The flow bench and driving tests/test bench have shown that a sufficient amount of air is more important to the engine than cold air). With the conventional carbon and HG-Motorsport intakes you reduce your maximum performance in the full load range because not enough air gets into your engine through the small slot on the front frame.

Remove it and you will notice that your engines run much better at higher speeds.
